FIRST BANDS ANNOUNCED FOR ROCK IMPERIUM 2027
Rock Imperium Festival 2026 has undoubtedly been the biggest edition in our history. For three days, Cartagena once again became the meeting point for the global rock and heavy metal community, bringing together more than 50,000 attendees from over 40 countries. Thousands of people sharing the same passion and proving that music knows no borders.
Iron Maiden provided the perfect grand finale with a truly historic performance. A colossal show that journeyed through decades of immortal anthems and will forever remain etched in the memory of everyone who packed Parque El Batel. An unforgettable night that confirmed why they continue to be one of the greatest bands of all time.
Within Temptation lit up the festival with a performance filled with power, elegance, and emotion. Sharon den Adel and her band once again demonstrated why they are one of the most beloved acts in contemporary metal, delivering an intensely powerful show and forging an absolute connection with the audience.
Epic moments arrived courtesy of Sabaton. Massive singalongs, war-inspired anthems, and a spectacular production transformed the venue into a true battlefield. Alongside them, legendary bands such as Anthrax, Trivium, Mastodon, H.E.A.T., The Gathering, and many more completed an unforgettable lineup that once again established Rock Imperium as an essential event for rock and metal fans.
But Rock Imperium is much more than a lineup. It is the energy of the crowd, the atmosphere that fills Cartagena, the reunions, the new friendships, and the feeling of being part of a unique community. Thank you for making it possible once again.
And, like every great story, this one is far from over. Rock Imperium Festival will return to Parque El Batel on July 2, 3, and 4, 2027, and we already know some of the names set to lead the next battle: Helloween celebrating their 40th anniversary, Children Of Bodom paying tribute to Alexi Laiho in their only Spanish show, Mayhem, Venom, Erik Grönwall, and many more bands yet to be announced.
