Crimson Glory was formed in Florida in 1982 and quickly became one of the most unique and cult-favorite bands in progressive metal. With an initial lineup led by vocalist Midnight, guitarists Jon Drenning and Ben Jackson, bassist Jeff Lords, and drummer Dana Burnell, they debuted in 1986 with their self-titled album released by Roadrunner, which received excellent reviews and put them on the international map.

In 1988 came ‘Transcendence’, considered a masterpiece of the genre and a key milestone in the evolution of progressive and melodic metal. Shortly after, the lineup underwent internal changes and new stages emerged, leading to ‘Strange & Beautiful’ in 1991. After Midnight’s departure and an extended hiatus, Crimson Glory returned in 1999 with ‘Astronomica’, keeping the legend alive and expanding their legacy.

Over the years, their mysterious aura, unmistakable sound, and Midnight’s iconic vocals have secured them an indelible place in metal history. In 2026, Crimson Glory will take the stage at Parque El Batel in Cartagena, giving fans the chance to reunite with one of the most legendary and influential bands in the scene.
